DIRECTIONS TO THE ICE PARK

From the East:  (Palmyra, Louisa, Goochland, Richmond, )  Take Interstate 64 West, take the first Charlottesville exit, Shadwell/Route 250, and go right at the foot of the ramp onto 250 West.  Go about 2 miles or so and turn left onto McIntire Rd. This is the exit AFTER Park Street.  Follow McIntire until you reach the large intersection with Preston Avenue.  Proceed straight through the lights and the entrance to the Omni parking lot will be on the left (just past the McDonald's on your right), OR you can go past the Omni to the light at the top of the hill, go left onto Water Street and proceed 2-3 blocks to the Water Street Garage on your right. Bring in your tickets: we stamp for 2 hours free parking in the Water Street facility, discount parking at the Omni.

From the North:  (Earlysville, Ruckersville, Madison, Culpeper, DC)  Follow Route 29 South to Charlottesville.  Follow  signs for Route 250 East (enter just after the overpass)and proceed to the McIntire Road exit. This is the exit AFTER the Rugby Avenue exit. Turn right onto McIntire Road and follow the directions as above.

From the South:  (North Garden, Covesville, Lynchburg, )   Follow 29 North to Charlottesville, which becomes Route 250 East. Take 250 East to McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road and follow the directions as above.

From the West:   (Waynesboro, Staunton, Lexington, Roanoke)   Take Interstate 64 East and exit at the first Charlottesville interchange, Route 29 North.  This becomes Route 250 East. Take 250 East to McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road and follow the directions as above.
