Imagine a brand-new, smooth sheet of ice in a beautiful setting all to yourself. That’s just what you or your group can enjoy at the Charlottesville Ice Park. Private ice rentals are surprisingly affordable, at only $235.00 for a 50 minute session, $375.00 for 80 minutes, or $450.00 for 100 minutes. The ice rental fee includes rental skates for groups of 45 or fewer skaters. For groups of more than 45 skaters, private rentals may be arranged for only $7.50 per person for a 50 minute session. For groups of more than 45, the hourly rates do not apply.

            If you prefer, you can use your time to skate with your friends to your choice of music, play broomball, or organize your own hockey game. Please note: all on-ice activities except broomball require the use of ice skates!

            Times are limited and usually must be scheduled well in advance, but the Ice Park’s schedulers try to keep some free time available for private rentals when they are setting each month’s schedule.
